Pakistani security officials have seized 100 tons of bomb-making chemicals from a truck and a compound in from Quetta, one of the country's most violent cities.
The material was the same type used in two bombings earlier this year that killed around 200 people.
The raid came a day after two men were arrested driving a truck with 15 tons of potassium chlorate hidden under boxes of potato chips.
Information from the men led officers to a warehouse stocked with more potassium chlorate, circuit wire, sulfur, aluminum powder, acid, detonating equipment, guns and ammunition.
Security officials said 80 drums of material had been prepared.
