Max: In 1933, Hitler came to power in Germany.
Einstein was Jewish, so he was not safe in Germany.
Kathy: So he stayed in the U.S.
Max: Yes. From 1933 until his death, Einstein lived in the
United States.
Kathy: Did he become an American citizen?
Max: Yes, he did. In 1941 he became an American citizen.
Kathy: Well... it’s time to meet today’s guest.
Max: Who’s our guest today?
Kathy: It’s Maria Alvarez .
Max: Maria, she manages a clothing store... in San
