A coalition of 26 countries is looking for the plane that vanished on March 8 with 239 people aboard on a night flight from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing.
One of the event organizers said that, despite the uncertainty surrounding the disappearance of the plane and passengers, what was important was to support the friends and family of the missing.
"We don't know what's happening, but we can surely share the pain. We are there for you."
