Max: Ah, actually, I do. April fifteenth is for income taxes.
But I have to pay property taxes.
Kathy: Oh, property taxes, that’s right. I forgot about that.
I don’t pay property taxes because I rent an apartment.
Max: Right. But if you buy your own place, you’ll have to pay property taxes every year.
Kathy: Are your property taxes high, Max?
Max: They’re not too bad.
