U.S. authorities say it might take weeks before the autopsy results on legendary U.S. musician Prince are made public.
The Carver County sheriff said there were no obvious signs of trauma on Prince's body and suicide is not suspected.
The sheriff also began setting boundaries in the high-profile death investigation.
"Because this investigation is ongoing. I will not be answering questions on whether or not there were any items that were taken during our processing."
The 57-year-old artist was found dead Thursday in an elevator at the Paisley Park Studios complex where he lived outside the northern city of Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Prince was hospitalized last week following concerts in Georgia, but no details were released at the time regarding his health.
The local medical examiner's office said Friday that preliminary results of the autopsy will take days and the results of a full toxicology scan could be weeks.
