Thousands of anti-government protestors in Bangkok are warming up for Monday's demonstrations aimed at disrupting life in the capital city, and embarrassing the country's prime minister.

The protestors spent Sunday getting ready for the planned shutdown aimed at bringing down Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra.

She has dissolved parliament and called snap elections for February 2, but has refused to resign.

Chok Suwanlong - retired army officer - in THAI:

"I think we will definitely win. But I don't know when, but we will surely have a victory. The government will have to resign." ((:08))

The protesters accused the prime minister of being a puppet for her billionaire brother, former prime minister Thaksin Shinawatra, who was ousted during a military coup in 2006.
