Anti-government protesters in Thailand Thursday targeted businesses associated with Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra.
Dozens of protesters demonstrated outside the Shinawatra family businesses headquarters. Protesters also singled out the Prime Minister's brother, the former prime minister who fled the country following his conviction for corruption.
Protester Methika Theeradachoowong said:
"For more than 10 years he(Thaksin Shinawatra) has squatted on Thailand and sucked out the country's money in many ways. Everybody knows that right?"
At least 5 people, four protesters and a police officer, were killed in the demonstrations on Tuesday.
The prime minister (Ms. Yingluck) tried to resolve the conflict with early elections this month. But the opposition boycotted the vote, and disrupted it in several areas, preventing a definitive result until more polls can be held.
