Laos has reshuffled a couple of cabinet positions, citing the need to conform with current situations in the country. Political analysts in Laos, however, see the move as a signal by the LPRP to allow the younger-generation members more roles. The reshuffle includes the transfer of the governor of Borikhamsay province to head the Ministry of Interior, replacing Gen. Soudchay Thammasith who was retired for health reasons.
