Palestinian officials say at least 14 people have been killed and more than 80 others wounded in today's Israeli military incursion into two refugee camps in the Gaza Strip. At least seven militants, including some members of the Palestinian group Hamas are among the dead.
A senior member of the Iraqi Governing Council says agreement on an interim constitution has been reached with Iraq's top Shi'ite leader and the document will be signed Monday. Speaking after Shi'ite political leaders met with Grand Ayatollah Ali al-Sistani, the Council member, who also is a Shi'ite, said the accord will allow members to sign a new basic law for Iraq.
