Larry: OK... and we’re off the air.
Max: (VO) So how was the movie last night, Kathy?
Kathy: It was great!
I can’t wait to see it again.
Eliz: (off mike) Goodbye, Boris. See you tonight.
SFX: Elizabeth entering
Eliz: (sighs) Hi, everyone.
Max & Kathy (overlapping): Hi. Hi, Elizabeth.
Kathy: Did Boris drive you to work today?
Eliz: Yes, I had car trouble.
Kathy: Oh, that’s too bad. What was the matter?
Eliz: I’m not sure.
Yesterday, my car was fine.
But this morning, it wouldn’t start.
Max: Did it make any noise at all?
Eliz: Yes, it did.
It went (deep voice) “Rrrrrrrr..... rrrrrrrr....... rrrrrrr…...”
And then nothing.
Max: Hmmm. That doesn’t sound good.
Eliz: Anyway, I called my local garage.
They towed my car this morning, and they’re working on it.
So Boris drove me to work.
Max: Well, I hope the repairs aren’t too expensive.
Eliz: Oh, excuse me. It’s time to start my show.
Larry: Ready for Functioning in Business. Cue Music...
