Tropical storm Wasi that hit Laos earlier this week has caused widespread floods in many parts of the country, with most hard-hit areas being the provinces of Savannakhet, and Khmamouane, and Oudomxay where 46 villages in 7 districts were flooded.
However, it is likely that the country will face more floods and destruction with two more depression storms blowing towards Vietnam and China, and expected to move over Laos in two days.
