Vientiane administration officials said they will need more than 297 billion kips, or almost US$ 30 million to implement the remaining 14 investment projects for the rest of the fiscal year 2004-05, as required by the government’s socio-economic development plan.
The officials added that they will have to rely on international aids for most of that money because of severe budget shortages.
