Thai King Cancels Appearance At 87th Birthday Celebration

Over a span of eight decades Thailand has had 16 constitutions or temporary charters, been governed by more than 30 prime ministers and witnessed 10 successful military coups. But there has been only one king: Bhumibol Adulyadej.
