Suspect in US Black Church Shooting Charged With Murder, Gun Possession

The suspect in the Wednesday shooting in an African-American church in Charleston, South Carolina, was charged Friday with nine counts of murder and one count of criminal possession of a firearm. A judge in Charleston set bail of $1 million for 21-old Dylann Roof on the firearms charge but said he did not have the authority to set bail on the nine counts of murder. U.S. President Barack Obama urged all Americans to work on changing the country's gun culture. VOA's Zlatica Hoke has more.
