After weeks of controversy about the invitation and the timing, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu addressed a joint meeting of the U.S. Congress Tuesday. He was welcomed with raucous applause in the packed House gallery. But some Democrats were upset by his remarks urging Congress to reject a potential deal with Iran to curb its nuclear program, just as international talks with Tehran have reached a critical phase.
