Thailand To Offer Anti-HIV Drugs To Neighbors, Starting With Laos - 2004-07-13

Thailand's Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra told delegates at the 15th AIDS Conference in Bangkok that his government will provide locally-produced anti-retroviral(ARV) drugs to neighoring countries, beginning with Laos, Myanmar, and Cambodia.

Then as Thailand's economy becomes stronger, he will extend the assistance to other countries in the region and the world.
