The U.N. World Population Fund in Thailand announces that it is ready to provide humanitarian aid to the more than 6 thousand Hmong refugees living along both sides of the road to the Houay NamKhao village in Phetchaboun province. Meanwhile, Phetchaboun authorities prepare to move the refugees to new facilities soon.
In another development, Thai police on Tuesday arrested 35 Hmongs from Laos and charged them with illegal entry. The Hmongs were heading to Baan Houay Namkhao to join their relatives.
