Thailand is hosting a feast Thursday fit for an elephant.

In celebration of National Elephant Day, dozens of pachyderms enjoyed a buffet of fruit and vegetables.

They were honorees at (Royal Elephant Kraal) a village just outside Bangkok, dedicated to the conservation of Thai elephants.

The yearly celebration of the elephant aims to promote the importance of the animals. Elephants are revered in Thai culture.
