For Most Americans, Having Choices Is a Kind of Freedom. - 2005-04-25

Today, Monday, April 25, 2005, we'll begin by learning new vocabulary and a couple of new sentences. Then we'll hear a conversation between Elizabeth and Gary about an e-mail question from our audience. The question is: "When I go to an American restaurant, why does the waitress ask me a lot of questions?" One of the answers Gary explains to the audience is: " For Most Americans, having choices is a kind of freedom." After this you'll have a chance to check your understanding by doing an exercise by answering "True/False" questions. You'll also have a chance to learn more names of food.
