Environmentalists and representatives of ten Thai grassroot organizations submitted a letter to be forwarded to the president of the World Bank to show their objection to the controversial Nam Theun 2 hydro-electric power dam to be built in central Laos for fear the project will adversely instead of beneficially affect the environment.
