VOA-Lao came into being 43 years ago this month, so we celebrated by wishing her happy birthday this past weekend with the song "Souksan Van Keut" by Indavanh of France. We also played "Phone Viva or Wedding Wish" by the Luang Prabang or LPB band of Philadelphia in response to a request by a listener in Laos who is getting married on February 14. Alexandra Bounxouei completed our program with her "Rain or Say Fon," also per audience requests.
