Laos and Thailand have agreed to expand their cooperation in counter-narcotics area by increasing their information sharing efforts relating to drug arrest cases, hoping it will lead to more drug seizures and the eventural crackdown on drug-trafficking networks.
Information sharing has resulted in separate seizures of a total of 1,000 kilos of dry marijuana by Lao and Thai authorities earlier this month.
