Thailand has decided to give top priority to building cooperation with its neighbors to promote tourism in the region from now to the year 2010, saying it will do all it can to attract no less than ten million foreign tourists to Thailand and send them on to its border-sharing neighbors, namely Laos, Cambodia, and Burma.
Meanwhile, Laos says it expects to welcome about 800,000 foreign tourists for the years 2004-05.
