U.S. Warplanes in Iraq have launched what the military calls another precison strike against militants in Fallujah, The early-morning strike today (Sunday) targeted a building where U.S. officials sai ant-Iraqi forces were moving weapons.

Northeast India has been hit by a second day of deadly violence blamed on separatists in the region. Authorities in the far northeastern state of Assam say three militants were killed today (Sunday) when a bomb they were hiding exploded. At least three other blasts elsewhere in the state wounded at least 35 people.

The head of the United Nations nuclear agency has arrived in South Korea, where his staff is investigating unauthorized nuclear research. Mohamed Elbaradei, dirextor general of the International Atomic Energy Agency, will discuss Seoul's nuclear activities while he is South Korea attending a conference.
