Laos says all the environmental and social impact studies of the Nam Theun 2 dam project have been done as thoroughly and completely as never before. Meanwhile, coordination with the World Bank regarding the project is progressing as planned.
The statement came as the World Bank holds a series of international workshops on the controversial project.
