Lao and Thai officials pledge to continue and expand their cooperation in counter-narcotics, following remarkable results in information sharing. The pledge came during the just concluded 7th annual meeting between drug officials of the two countries.
A Thai official says information sharing has resulted in the biggest single drug bust by Lao authorities along their commonborder, with almost one million methamphetamines seized together with 20 kilos of heroin.
