Laos’defense minister, Mr. Douangchai Phichit, says news reports about the plights of the Hmong people living in the jungles of Laos are simply fabrications aiming at slandering the Lao government.
The minister made his comment to VOA’s stringer at the end of a recent security talks between Laos and Thailand in Bangkok.
