Laos says its preparations for the annual ASEAN summit are proceeding according to plans and targets, including security precautionary measures. Laos will host the 10th ASEAN summit in late November.
The summit is expected to adopt the Vientiane Action Plan, which aims at reducing povery and economic development gaps among member nations by the year 2020.
