Police and security officials in New York, Washington and other parts of the United States have increased anti-terrorist precautions, based on a government warning that members of the al-Qaida network have been preparing to attack this country's key financial institutions with car bombs or truck bombs.
Iraq's top Shi'ite Muslim cleric has condemned Sunday's deadly car bombs attacks targeting several Christian churches.
