Thai officials say more than 600,000 illegal workers have registered during the month of July open season. 25% of that number is from Laos, while 60% is from Burma and 15% from Cambodia. Authiorities say they expect over 400,000 more will come forward to register by the end of the month. Registered workers will be allowed to stay another year in Thailand.
