Suspected suicide car bombings in two Iraqi cities have left at least 13 Iraqis and one U.S. soldier dead. One car bomb exploded near a U.S military base in Baquba, killing four Iraqis and an American soldier. Three U.S soldiers and at least 16 Iraqis also were wounded.

Americans across the nation have been paying tribute to the country's 40th president, Ronald Reagan, who died Saturday at the age of 93. Mr. Reagan's body is lying in repose at his presidential library near Los Angeles, where thousands of people have walked by his flag-draped coffin.

The lawmakers, from both Malaysia's ruling and opposition parties, have formed a committee demanding that Burma's military government enact democratic reforms, saying Burma has done little to move toward democracy. The new committee is calling on Rangoon to free all political prisoners and speed up democratic reforms.
