President Bush is leading the United States in mourning former President Ronald Reagan, who has died at the age 93 at his home in California. Mr. Bush, in Europe today marking the anniversary of the D-Day invasion during World War Two, praised Mr. Reagan for ending the cold war and building up the Unites States' economic and military strength.

President Bush and French President Jacques Chirac pay tribute to Allied soldiers who shed their blood to liberate Europe from Nazi occupation 60 years ago.

The U-N Security Council meets today to discuss a U-S-British resolution outlining the transfer of power in Iraq to an interim government on June 30th.
