New U-S Census Bureau figures say America's Asian and Hispanic population will triple by 2050, while Whites will rise by only seven percents. For the first time in America's history, its white population will not be a clear majority. Today seven out of ten Americans are white. In the year 2050, only five in ten will be white.
One feature of this new reality is that the Asian-American community is spreading across the country and growning very fast. For instance, Wisconsin had 53,000 Asian Americans ten years ago. Today it is home to more than 100,000, with 35,000 Hmongs from Laos ready to swell that number even more within the next twelve months.
