A leading member of the Fact Finding Commision says the simple solution to the problem of the Hmong insurgency in Laos is for the Lao government to stop the fight against the Hmong minorities and allow them refugee status and safe passage out of the country to resettle in third countries that would take them such as the United States.
Ed Szendrey of the FFC made the comment to VOA-Lao in Bangkok.
