National universities in Thailand, Laos, Vietnam, and Cambodia will be linked in the near future via an Information Technology system run by a technology institute that Thailand will help set up.
One of the objectives is to develop human resources in the three former Indochinese countries and bring them up to the standard of other ASEAN member.
