Interview with the Head of the Laotian-American Chamber of Commerce - 2004-03-04

In an exclusive interview with VOA, Mr. Nara Simek Sihavong, the chairman of the first Laotian-American Chamber of Commerce (LACC) in Hawaii, says the reason the LACC was started stems from the recognition that there is a need to have an independent body that is going to serve as a conduit for businesses and business expertise between the U.S. and Laos.

He says the Board Members of the LACC support Normal Trade Relations for Laos and truly believe it would improve the economic situation in the country of Laos.
