Over 1,800 of the approximately 15,000 Hmongs refugees at Wat Thamkrabok have so far applied for resettlement in the U.S. Polygamy and drug tests are big hurdles for those who have been drug addicts and have many wives.
U.S. officials expect resetllement can begin as early as September.
