Hiem Phommachanh, Laos ambassador to Thailand, says the group called the Free Democratic People's Government of Laos does not exist, and the bomb explosions that have taken place in Vientiane and other Laotian towns are only minor provocations.
The rebel group, Free Democratic People's Government of Laos, claims it is responsible for a series of bomb explosions, including Friday's (Oct. 31) blast in Vientiane, and warns of more attacks in the absence of democratic reforms.
