Thailand says it is considering Laos' request for assistance in upgrading Vientiane Airport, and will also lend Laos equipments needed to facilitate the ASEAN annual summit that Laos is scheduled to host next year.
Meanwhile, construction has begun for the Vientiane-Hanoi Friendship School that Vietnam is building for Laos in Vientiane.
