Diplomats in Laos say two European journalists and a U-S interpreter arrested earlier this month for allegedly cooperating with anti-government rebels will go on trial Friday.
Belgian reporter Thierry Falise, French photographer Vincent Reynaud and U-S paster Naw Karl Mua will be tried in the town of Phonesavanh, in XiengKhouang province. The three were arrested June fourth. Four Lao nationals were also arrested, and their whereabout are not known.
