A group of 35 Britons bicycle around Luangprabang for three days and then from Thalat to Vientiane, as part of the second "Cycle Laos" - a fund-raising activity for the National Deaf Children's Society.
In the first "Cycle Laos" two years ago, 50 participants rode from Luangprabang to Vientiane in five days. The recent bus ambush in the Vang Vieng area caused the second group to scrap the same plan.
