Lao-American businessman Pida Kongphouthone, owner of California Capital Investment Groups, discussed the current real estate market situation with VOA and gave advices on how to go about buying a house, saying right now is the best time to purchase a house because of the low interest rates but a bad time to sell your house because of tumbling prices.
He also talked about the United States government to help the crumbling housing market, pointing to the recent Federal Reserve's interest rate reduction.
Nevertheless, the young Lao-American who heads a 2.5 million-dollar investment company says, "The best time to buy a house is whenever you think you are ready, financially and otherwise. But take time and plan ahead, taking into account how you want to set up your mortgage, 15 years or 30 years. It’s all up to your income, the amount of down payment and the length of your employment."
"For any questions that you many have, big or small, please contact me. California Capital Investment Group team and I are happy and willing to assist you,” concluded Pida.
