Lately we have received a lot of listeners’ emails from all over the world writing to request songs and dedicate them to loved ones. And we have tried to comply with their requests as soon as we could.
This week, in response to a request from Khamphanh Sanaphanh, a listener from the Lao PDR, who wanted to dedicate a song to his parents, VOA plays “Boupha Savanh or Flower From Heaven,” the title cut from the latest album by the Saysamphanh band of Canada.
Another listener, Vilaysack Thao of Green
Bay Wisconsin, who is a big fan of the Saysamphanh, also emailed us and asking for Saysamphanh’s music.
We hope that the Saysamphanh’s hit “Deuane Ngay Thee Hawaii or Moonlight in Hawaii,” will make Vilaysack happy. Last but not least, we play Tom Rainbow once again after featuring his interview and his songs two weeks ago.
Listen to our program to enjoy these songs. And come back for more of our music every weekend.
