Lao communities in the U.S., Canada, and all over the world celebrated Lao New Year last weekend. So we joined in the celebrations by playing new year-related music to send new year wishes to our listeners.
The Mekong Vert band of France started our program with "Siang Khene Pimai," followed by Californian Khaykham Oudom's "Thepee Songkan," a tribute to the beautiful winners of the San Diego annual Songkan Queen Pageants.
Veteran Lao singer Khamla Nokeo, now residing inTennessee, wrapped up our program with his "Sabaidee Pimai."
