Thai police are still unable to say whether the 6 human remains they recently found along the border between Chiengmai and Mehongsone provinces are those of the Hmongs who disappeared a month ago because the bodies have badly decomposed. So authorities have to wait for the official autopsy and DNA results.
Eight Hmongs disappeared from a house in Chiangmai on March 2, and have not been found since. Thai authorities say four of the 8 Hmong may be Hmong-Americans.
