Thai police have arrested 74 women from Laos who work as dancers for a Thai country singer. Authorities say initial investigations reveal that the women entered Thailand illegally, and in addition have performed prohibited work, namely in the sex services.
Thai experts say this emphasizes the fact that Thailand has become the hub for human trafficking in Asia.
