Thai police have detained six more Hmongs from Laos who have been living in Phetchaboun province. The Hmongs were arrested for illegally entering the country, and are expected to be repatriated to Laos in the near future;
Thai authorities have earlier sent back 27 Hmong teenagers who are now in the custody of Lao police. They were among a group of 29 Hmongs arrested in Phetchaboun in late December. The remaining two are being detained with the six that have been recently arrested.
