Investors of Laos’ controversial Nam Theun 2 hydro-power project say project construction has progressed to almost 10% of the planned target, and that so far they have spent almost US$300 millions, out of the total estimated construction cost of US$1,250 millions.
NT2 investors expect to be able to export 995 MW of electricity to Thailand's EGAT annually for 25 years, beginning in 2009.
