Thailand's Ratchaburi Electricity Generating Holding, Plc., announces it is assuming a 25% stake in the Nam Ngum 2 dam construction in Laos. The investment will cost the Thai company about 2,350 millon Bahts or roughly 59 million dollars of the total estimated cost of $235 millions. The Nam Ngum 2 dam is expected to produce electricity by the year 2010 to be sold to Thailand.
