The 8th Ordinary Session of the 5th legislature of the Lao National Assembly has adjourned after passing many legislations, including amendments to some articles of the present criminal law in order to make it current with the changing world so that it can be appropriately enforced, particularly in addressing the problems of transnational crimes and international terrorism.
